ChoralSong of Colorado Springs celebrates Colorado’s 150th

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — ChoralSong of Colorado Springs, a 28-voice auditioned chamber choir, is celebrating Colorado’s 150th anniversary with special spring events.

Founded in 2023, the choir includes singers from all walks of life—musicians, teachers, business owners, and more—who share a love of choral music. Executive Director Sandy Tiemens and Artistic Director & Board Chair Daniel Price joined FOX21’s Krista Witiak on Loving Living Local to talk about the choir’s upcoming concerts, community events, and how choral music brings people together.

This May, ChoralSong will perform two concerts celebrating Colorado’s 150th: one on Sunday, May 3 in Woodland Park, and another on Monday, May 4 in Colorado Springs. Both concerts will include pre-show talks by local historian Heidi Bailey, offering context about Colorado’s history.
