Results for America has awarded the city of Bellevue its Bloomberg Philanthropies What Works Cities Certification, which is the international standard for data excellence in city governance.
Launched in 2017, the What Works Cities Certification program is managed by Bloomberg Philanthropies and Results for America and has, since its start, awarded 100 cities with the certification.
The standard evaluates a cityβs data usage based on 43 criteria. A city that meets 51% to 67% of these criteria receives the silver level of certification, 68% to 84% earns gold, and 85% or more achieves platinum.
