VANCOUVER, WA – Clark College faced a tough test at home on April 3, dropping both games of a doubleheader to a powerful Southwestern Oregon lineup at Raines Field.
Game 1 proved to be challenging.
Southwestern Oregon jumped out early and never let up, piling up 13 hits in a 12–0 win. A five-run second inning put Clark in an early hole, and defensive struggles compounded the problem as the Penguins committed five errors.
