BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield firefighters extinguished a fire at a detached garage in the 2400 block of 18th Street on Monday evening, preventing further damage.
A detached garage was fully engulfed when crews arrived just after 7:45 p.m.
18th and A streets were temporarily closed. The area has since reopened.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time…
