One person is fighting for their life after a Sunday shooting on Balsam Fir Drive in east Charlotte, according to medics at the scene. Emergency crews rushed the victim to the hospital with what were described as life-threatening injuries while police started working the block for clues.
WCNC reported that the gunfire broke out on Balsam Fir Drive, a residential street just off Albemarle Road. MEDIC classified the victim’s condition as life-threatening. As of the initial update yesterday, investigators had not released any information about a suspect or a possible motive.
