Searching for a veterinarian accepting new clients just got easier with the launch of Find-A-Vet. Created by the Indiana Center for Animal Policy (IN-CAP), this portal matches Indiana producers with veterinary care in their area.
Users can search for veterinary services by species, location, specialty and delivery of services.
“We know the search tool will not solve all the shortfalls we hear about,” Indiana State Veterinarian Kyle Shipman said. “Our goal is to help where we can to match up veterinary practices with capacity for new clients with those who need their services. Many times, smaller clinics are not well known outside their immediate communities, so an animal owner may not be aware that a veterinarian is available in the next town or county away.”…
