Several special guests joined students in Katy King’s art class at Gen. Ray Davis Middle School last Wednesday to create Georgia-themed clay bowls for the April 23 Empty Bowls Dinner Fundraiser. Some of the guests included Georgia School Superintendent Richard Woods, Rockdale County Board of Education Chair Sandra Jackson-Lett, Rockdale County Board of Education member Tonya Bloodworth, Rockdale County Superintendent Shirley Chesser, Rockdale County Commissioner Doreen Williams and Geraldine Price and Meghan Frick of the Georgia Department of Education.
