LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a new phone scam.
According to the sheriff’s office, callers are posing as Sergeant Sean Cooper and telling victims they failed to appear for jury duty. The scammers then threaten arrest if personal information is not provided.
