After Ben Fong-Torres learned that he was dealing with a teenager who had not yet graduated from high school, the legendary editor of Rolling Stone magazine had a message for young Cameron Crowe.
“Half the staffers hate you,” Fong-Torres said, according to Crowe’s recently published memoir, “The Uncool.”
