STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Over half of Staten Island’s residential ZIP codes saw asking prices for homes slide over the past year, as shifting mortgage rates and broader global uncertainty reshaped the borough’s real estate market, new data shows. An analysis of Realtor.com figures by the Advance/SILive.com found that median list prices declined in seven of 12 Staten Island ZIP codes between February 2025 and February 2026, even as a handful of areas bucked the trend with modest gains.
