The Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) has put out a Request for Proposals for 1407 Key Hwy. in Federal Hill. The 43,321 sq. ft. building on 1.54 acres of Inner Harbor waterfront was a Baltimore City Fire Department repair shop.
The property sits adjacent to the Baltimore Museum of Industry and a HarborView parking lot, and is just steps from Little Havana and the HarborView development.
Key Hwy. has seen a lot of investment over the past 40 years, transforming it from an industrial area to a mix of residential and commercial uses.
