Sweet 220, a Dearborn bakery, has sold out of thousands of cupcakes almost every day for four weeks after a TikTok review by Chow Down Detroit went viral. Owner Hassan Makki said the shop has brought on more workers to keep up with demand.
“Today we made 2,000 cupcakes, so I’m not trying to be out today,” said Makki, according to WXYZ. Last Saturday the shop sold out of 1,800.
