Thomasville volunteer firefighter back to work after having heart attack on duty

THOMASVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) — More than a month after suffering a heart attack on duty, a volunteer firefighter in Thomasville has returned to work.

Walking around the Pilot Fire Department on Monday brought back memories for volunteer firefighter Brandon Tucker.

“Always on the truck or always on the call. Anytime the pager went off, I’d go off and answer it. In the middle of dinner, it’s time to go,” Tucker said.
