(FOX40.COM) — Fire crews with the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District extinguished an apartment fire early Tuesday morning.
Metro Fire said crews responded to reports of a fire around 8:40 a.m. in the area of Howe Avenue and Sierra Boulevard.
Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a second-story room at the Mulberry Gardens Apartments. The fire was extinguished and the unit was left with smoke damage.
