Wine Country airport lands Southwest service — here’s where you can fly

Southwest Airlines’ expansion to the largest airfield serving Wine Country was poised to launch Tuesday with an inaugural flight landing at the Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa.

Passengers from the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas were scheduled to land in Santa Rosa at 3:55 p.m. The return flight will depart at 4:35 p.m.

Southwest is also launching nonstop daily flights from Santa Rosa to San Diego and Burbank and Saturday flights to Denver through Aug. 26 when it will shift to daily service. Starting Oct. 3, the carrier also plans to add seasonal Saturday flights between Santa Rosa and Austin, Texas…
