Barricaded man who threatened to detonate bomb arrested in Ventura
A man who barricaded himself in a Ventura home and threatened to detonate a bomb was arrested after a lengthy standoff, police said.
Officers with the Ventura Police Department responded around 11 a.m. to a report of a suspicious person in the 8000 block of Twin River Circle, a small street in east Ventura, according to a news release. Police said the person was believed involved in an earlier vandalism.
