Spring practice has been at the forefront of Texas football for the past few weeks, but one very important recruiting battle has been taking place behind closed doors in Austin as well.
Kalel Johnson, a top 25 offensive tackle recruit in the 2027 class, has been in constant contact with Texas’ coaching staff, and he was even on campus for an unofficial visit recently. After having a great meeting with OL Coach Kyle Flood and Co., Johnson has decided to go ahead and schedule an official visit with the program for the weekend of June 5th.
