MILWAUKEE — Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee was evacuated for a fire on Monday.
The Milwaukee Fire Department said a call came in at around 11:47 a.m. from someone who said they saw smoke coming from what appeared to be Potawatomi.
When crews arrived, they found the fire on the roof in an HVAC unit and “attacked aggressively.” The first was out about 40 minutes later at 12:29 p.m.
None of the fire made it into the casino, but people were evacuated and it has now been closed. MFD said there were no injuries or transports…
