A San Antonio woman who defrauded customers by selling them headstones that they never received has been sentenced to prison.
Elena Moreno, 49, pleaded guilty to theft between $30,000 and $150,000 in December. On Monday, state District Judge Stephanie Boyd sentenced her to six years in prison. Moreno had asked the court to grant her deferred adjudication.
