WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – It’s a seasonably cool morning across Kansas with wake-up temperatures in the 30s and 40s. Like Monday afternoon, a strong and gusty wind from the south will help highs climb into the lower to middle 70s this afternoon.
After a warm and dry Wednesday afternoon, the first of several disturbances to impact the state will arrive during the evening and night. Scattered showers and storms are possible, if not likely over central Kansas, but the odds of both heavy rain and severe weather are low.
