Man suspected of stealing packages, abandoning puppy on Spokane’s South Hill arrested

SPOKANE, Wash. — A man suspected of stealing packages and abandoning a puppy on Spokane’s South Hill has been arrested.

According to the Spokane Police Department (SPD), officers responded to reports of an unoccupied and suspicious vehicle left running at East 16th Avenue off South Grand Boulevard on Spokane’s South Hill on April 2.

SPD said the caller believed the driver of the unoccupied car fled the night before, abandoning the vehicle after being caught stealing packages by a homeowner…
