DA: Salem man with ties to ‘Savage Block’ gang sentenced to prison

SALEM, Ore. (KPTV) – A 23-year-old man with ties to a street gang in the Salem area was sentenced to prison for a firearm offense, according to the Marion County District Attorney’s Office.

Erikson Bossy pleaded guilty last week to one count of unlawful use of a firearm. He was sentenced to five years in prison.

The charge stems from an incident that happened on Dec. 29, 2025 near Vinyard Avenue Northeast and Knox Avenue Northeast. The district attorney’s office said Bossy pulled up next to a man walking near the intersection, got out of the car, and pointed a handgun at the ground in front of the victim after exchanging words…
