BENZIE COUNTY — A Grand Rapids man is facing charges after a five-month-long investigation into counterfeit money circulating in Benzie County.
Matthew Wilson, 56, was charged with uttering and publishing counterfeit bills on April 6 in the 85th District Court of Benzie County, according to an April 7 news release from Michigan State Police.
