HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Rather than gather in person, Harrisburg’s Bethel AME Church held a virtual Easter Sunday service after burglars stole copper and other metal piping from its building last week.
Burglaries are rare in Midtown, said Capt. Kyle Gautsch with the Harrisburg Police Bureau, but they sometimes increase when scrap prices go up, which has been the case for the last few months.
