A new ice cream shop has opened on East Main Street, a short walk from the West Herr Auditorium Theatre and Blackfriars Theatre.
Ice Cream Plus serves 16 flavors of Hershey’s ice cream in cones, waffle cones, milkshakes, sundaes and banana splits. It also serves soft-serve ice cream from Upstate Farms.
A Black-owned family business, Gail Evans owns the shop and runs it alongside her husband, daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. The shop has a walk-up window; it will have a patio with tables once construction is completed…
