Donation funds new radios for Moore Fire and Police

OKLAHOMA CITY – First responders in Moore will soon have an upgrade for their handheld radios.

Employees from Cox Communications made a check presentation during Monday night’s City Council meeting, donating $15,000 to be used between the fire and police department.

“We, often, are out working side by side with city crews in storm restoration and recovery,” said Katy Boren, vice president and Oklahoma City market leader for Cox Communications. “We find it critical to have the necessary supplies to do your job safely and efficiently.”…
