LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An armed man was barricaded in a motel on Boulder Highway, causing a heavy police response and road closures. Police later took him into custody.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at a motel in the 6000 block of Boulder Highway shortly after 6 a.m. on April 7.

Police said a man allegedly threatened a woman with a gun. The victim was able to leave the room, but the suspect refused to exit and the incident was deemed a barricade.
LVMPD said some nearby residents decided to self-evacuate from the area…
