CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – For almost a decade, Ediths Bait Shack & Wing Depot has been serving up memories along Mt. Vernon Road in Cedar Rapids.
Eric Frantz, owner of Ediths, said he drew inspiration from roadhouse-style restaurants he visited in Key West and Minnesota.
“My family lived down in Key West for a little while, and then been up north in Minnesota a lot. And you just hit some of those old roadhouse type of places that kind of catch your eye, and then you go in there and have one of the best meals you’ve ever had but you didn’t expect that.
