On Monday evening, a public meeting at the historic Ted’s Frostop resulted in a tense confrontation between developers and residents, as local neighbors felt blindsided about a proposed demolition of the beloved diner.
“It is very frustrating for them to basically say, ‘We’re here to answer your questions,’ but then say, ‘This is a done deal,’” said Tomy Acosta, neighborhood resident.
