LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KOLO) – A Nevada woman has been sentenced to more than four years after being convicted of falsely claiming nearly $100 million in COVID-19 related employment tax credits.
The DOJ says Candies Goode-McCoy, formerly of Las Vegas, conspired with others to file tax returns seeking fraudulent refunds based on the employee retention credit and paid sick and family leave credit credits.
McCoy will serve three years parole after her release…
