High-Speed Henderson Pickup Crash Into Power Pole Turns Deadly

A high-speed crash in West Henderson left one driver dead Monday after a pickup slammed into a power pole near Via Inspirada and South Las Vegas Boulevard, authorities said. Fire crews and police arrived to find the Ford F-150 engulfed in flames, and the truck’s lone occupant later died from injuries sustained in the collision. According to the Henderson Police Department, speed was a contributing factor.

As reported by 8 News Now, the pickup had been heading east on Via Inspirada when it left the roadway and struck a powerline electrical pole near the Las Vegas Boulevard intersection. First responders from Henderson police and the fire department arrived to find the vehicle on fire, and the crash remains under active investigation.
