WEATHER ALERT: Freezing temps could threaten fresh blossoms, new flowering plants

WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — A freeze warning is issued for Tuesday night across most of the Washington, D.C. area.

After a stretch of warm days, a lot of plants, flowers, and trees have already started growing, blooming, or leafing out. That fresh, tender growth is the most vulnerable when temperatures drop to 32 degrees or lower.
