ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A developer will soon begin the first phase of a project to revamp the gateway to downtown Alpharetta and is considering its options on how a second phase should proceed.
Alpharetta-based developer Alpharetta District Places is preparing to start construction at the end of May on 2.4 acres along Roswell Street between Old Milton Parkway and Marietta Street. Plans call for about 34,000 square feet of retail space that will “match the residential scale and architectural character of the downtown Alpharetta Heritage District,” the developer said.
