AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an inmate who escaped custody Tuesday night.
Deputies are searching the area in the 1100 block of Laney Walker Boulevard for 33-year-old Justin Craft Jr., according to officials.
Law enforcement stated that Craft was arrested by deputies this evening. Shortly after being handcuffed, he complained about having chest pains and was taken to Piedmont Hospital to be checked out.
