Charleston steakhouse finds teddy bear, seeks owner

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – It’s not every day a fine-dining steakhouse hosts a tiny, furry guest, but at Halls Chophouse Charleston, even the smallest visitors are treated like VIPs.

On Easter Sunday, staff at the popular Lowcountry restaurant made an unexpected discovery: a lost teddy bear, now affectionately named “Bearsy,” tucked away in the restaurant.

The team believes Bearsy was separated from its family during the holiday rush. According to the restaurant, the plush companion was found “washing her hands in the upstairs ladies’ room” after brunch had wrapped.

Since then, Bearsy has become something of an honorary guest…
