DUNEDIN — A strong majority of residents say Dunedin lives up to its “delightful” reputation, but concerns about code enforcement, stormwater drainage and aging infrastructure temper the enthusiasm, according to the city’s 2026 resident survey.
The survey drew 1,852 responses — fewer than the 2,044 in 2024 but more than the 1,715 in 2022 — and produced what a research consultant called the strongest ratings he has seen in any community he studies.
“Dunedin has the highest percentage of respondents rating your community as excellent of any of the surveys I do,” Stephen Neely of Forward Analytics told commissioners at a March 31 work session. “Your overall numbers remain very, very positive.”…
