Sanger approves new salaries, benefits

SANGER – Following negotiations with various bargaining units, the city is working to keep its pay, incentives and benefits competitive.

In the April 2 consent calendar, the Sanger City Council approved a resolution that updated salary ranges for unrepresented confidential and executive employees, updated the master salary schedule for all city positions and revised benefits for unrepresented confidential and executive employees.

The salary range increase is 3%, retroactive to July 1, 2025, and will apply to the positions of: administrative analyst, finance manager, human resources analyst, human resources manager, assistant city manager, community development director, chief of police, fire chief, public works director and parks and recreation director…
