A freeze warning was released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 2:34 p.m. valid for Wednesday between midnight and 8 a.m. for Hudson, Essex and Union counties.
The weather service informs, “Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 degrees expected.”
“Freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation,” says the weather service. “Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.”
