LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – UPS and the Teamsters Union have come to an agreement that caps the amount of severance package offers that the shipping company can make to drivers.
In a statement, Teamsters said that UPS will be limited to 7,500 severance packages it can offer under the terms of the new agreement and drivers who accept them will receive $150,000 for early retirement.
Offers can be made to long-haul drivers and regular package car drivers based on seniority in all regions in America…
