Man arrested in connection to Roanoke gas station robbery

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – A man has been arrested in connection to a gas station robbery in Southeast Roanoke, according to Roanoke Police.

Police responded Tuesday, March 24 at approximately 8:26 p.m. to the 400 block of Walnut Ave SE.

After reviewing surveillance footage, it was determined the man entered the store, walked behind the counter, pulled a handgun from his pocket, and pointed it at the clerk while demanding money, according to police. Police say the clerk complied, and the suspect left. No injuries were reported.
