Hamilton County Schools propose $705M FY27 budget with $14M for staff raises

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Hamilton County Schools has unveiled its proposed FY27 budget. The $705 million plan is centered on prioritizing staff raises and classroom ratios.

The Hamilton County School district serves nearly 45,000 students across 81 schools and employs more than 6,000 staff.
