KISSIMMEE, Fla. — This month marks one year since Kissimmee Police Department’s Chief Charles Broadway was sworn in as the 35th chief of the department.
Throughout his first year, Broadway has shared that one of his many goals was repairing trust with the community. He replaced former Chief Betty Holland, who stepped down in 2024 following an investigation into what the state attorney’s office called “alleged misconduct” within KPD.
