ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Drivers in Gates should plan for several overnight closures along Interstate 490 and Route 531 over the next week as crews install overhead sign structures.
The New York State Department of Transportation said the closures will affect parts of I-490 eastbound, Route 531 eastbound and several connecting ramps between April 8 and April 17.
The first closure begins Wednesday, April 8, when the I-490 eastbound off-ramp to Exit 7B — for Route 33 West, Route 531 West and Buffalo Road — will shut down from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday, April 9. The ramp from Route 33 West to Route 531 West will remain open…
