DENTON COUNTY, Texas — If you drive through Sanger regularly, especially along I-35E, this is one of those weeks where your normal route is going to look very different, especially overnight.
Crews are shutting down both directions of I-35E at Milam Road in phases, along with a continuous closure of the Milam Road bridge itself. It is all part of ongoing construction work in Denton County tied to long-term improvements along the I-35 corridor.
