BRYANT, Ark. (KATV) — It has been determined by the 22nd Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s Office that the members of the Saline County joint SWAT team and the Bryant Police Department (BPD) were justified in the fatal shooting of 56-year-old Ann Carmichael of Bryant.
On December 15, BPD officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of SW 4th Street. The called reported that his wife had shot a handgun at him through a bedroom door after an argument between the two.
