Little Rock man sentenced to over 10 years for robbing postal carrier with gun

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — A Little Rock man has been sentenced to more than 10 years in federal prison after he was convicted for the armed robbery of a postal employee.

Investigators say that Christopher Juan Sheard, 23, was armed with an extended mag Glock 20, when he robbed a postal carrier of their postal key.

The postal carrier was delivering mail to an apartment complex on Feb. 26, 2024, when Sheard approached with his hand on a pistol that was tucked into his waistband. After the robbery, Sheard reportedly made several phone calls to different people discussing selling the postal key for cash…
