WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — There will be road closures in place for the 64th annual Sakura Matsuri Japanese Street Festival in D.C.
The festival will take place on April 11 and April 12.

From Friday, April 10, starting at 7 p.m. until Sunday, April 12, at midnight, these streets will be closed:
- Pennsylvania Avenue from 3rd Street to 7th Street, NW
- Constitution Avenue from 3rd Street to 7th Street, NW
- 4th Street from Madison Drive to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
- 6th Street from C Street to Constitution Avenue, NW
On Saturday, April 11, and Sunday, April 12, from 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., these streets may be closed to vehicle traffic intermittently:
- Pennsylvania Avenue from 7th Street to 9th Street, NW
- 7th Street from D Street to Constitution Avenue, NW
Any cars parked in violation along these streets will be ticketed and towed.
