ANN ARBOR, MI – A judge ruled Concordia University’s Wisconsin branch can keep roughly $3 million in donations from a late booster, despite objections from the donor’s trust.
The dispute centered on the late donor’s foundation, which sought to block part of her trust from going to Concordia and to claw back separate funds already given to the university.
Ultimately, Washtenaw County Probate Court Judge Darlene O’Brien on April 8 ruled in favor of the Christian college, which significantly downsized its Ann Arbor campus in 2024…
