As the nation celebrates its 250th birthday, Taft’s annual Fourth of July fireworks show is in jeopardy.
The fireworks show has been put on for many years by the Taft Chamber of Commerce, which has to fundraise every year to pay for a show.
But rising costs and a diminishing base of large donors is forcing the chamber to pause and think about the future of the annual firework show…
