North Charleston Police Department mourns the death of K-9 Joker

The North Charleston Police Department on Thursday announced the death of beloved K-9 Joker, a narcotics and patrol dog credited with major drug seizures and violent suspect apprehensions during his five-year career.

Joker died surrounded by his handler, Cpl. Braden Reid, and members of the department’s K-9 Unit, police said. Department officials extended condolences to Reid and his family.
